Severe Weather Conditions at Indiana University

Due to severe weather in Indiana the IUPUI campus will be closed Tuesday, February 1st. (http://www.iupui.edu/~prepared/) This will mean the OSG Operations Center will be operating on emergency weekend and evening procedures until at least the morning of Wednesday, February 2nd. Critical services and emergency response will still be addressed immediately, but normal routine business items and ticket handling may be postponed until we are back on campus.

OSG TWiki x509 Authentication Errors (Resolved)

At approximately 4:20 pm (EST) on January 28, 2011 a problem with TWiki x509 authentication was encountered for Safari/Chrome Macintosh users. TWiki was rolled back to the previous version to allow these users access. Functionality was restored at 4:35 EST.

NLR Networking Issue Affects OSG BDII

Today beginning at 10:49 EST (15:49 UTC) the Indiana Gigapop and NLR network link experienced routing issues. These issue affected approximately 20 OSG sites sending CEMon data to the BDII machines located at the GOC. These sites were mostly located in the Southern and Southwestern US as links to the Denver and Atlanta NLR backbone routers were affected. The issues were resolved at 12:47 EST (17:47 UTC) and BDII was back to reporting these resources normally.

GOC Service Update - January 25th, 2011 at 14:00 UTC

The GOC will upgrade the following services beginning at Tuesday, January 25th, 2011 at 14:00 UTC. The GOC reserves four hours (14:00 - 18:00 UTC) in the unlikely event that unexpected problems are encountered. We encourage users to test affected services before the production release.

OIM 2.29 (https://oim.grid.iu.edu)

ITB version is now available for testing at https://oim-itb.grid.iu.edu

* Resource Registration Form / Made Resource Service a required field [OIM-64]
* Re-designed contact association view [OIM-61]
* Fixed the bug where null primary_phone profile field, and null Support Cente Footprint ID will cause Footprint ticket to not being created during Resource and VO registration. Added various debug log for further troubleshooting.
* Updated the header style.


MyOSG 1.30 (https://myosg.grid.iu.edu)

ITB version is now available for testing at https://myosg-itb.grid.iu.edu

* Resource Summary / Added "Open Ticket" information which shows list of all open GOC Tickets for each resources [GOCTICKET-53]
* Added check for missing resource_id parameter for History controller (to silence some alerts coming from deprecated code)

* Added a bit more information for truncated ggus update.

* Fixed SQL bug for OIM query (missing disable flag check for resource records)
* Fixed the bug where permanent metadata gets reset everytime ticket update happens on Footprint.

RSV Collector (rsv.grid.iu.edu)

* (Postponed again from the last releases) Updates to the RSV report scripts. The script will no longer rely on t2.unl.edu web services and will use rsvprocess.grid.iu.edu for RSV Metric data.

* Increased X509 session timeout to 1800 seconds
* Made client certificate to be required only when it's needed under https connection.
